Analog Devices Blackfin

A2E have considerable experience in developing hardware and software solutions using the Analog Devices Blackfin DSP running at up to 600Mhz.

We have designed products using BF527, BF531, BF533, BF537 and BF561 Blackfins, and have used multiple Blackfin variants working together on single board solutions to produce products with over 2900 MIPS performance yet low power usage.

A2E can provide rapid prototyping, producing custom hardware daughter-boards for the Blackfin EZKit boards, along with bespoke drivers and software. We create software solutions from the lowest level, through to Analog Devices' System Services layer and VDK, along with optimised embedded Linux solutions with rapid boot time and low memory footprint.

Using Blackfin Linux provides instant access to a wealth of drivers and applications, and a ready familiar platform for your own code to run on an embedded device.
