A2E designs ATEX compliant sensor

A2E designs ATEX compliant sensor

Our multinational Oil & Gas client required an ATEX compliant sensor which could be used in hazardous zone areas. The requirement was for this to be low-cost, to be small enough to retrofitted and also to incorporate power-saving electronics so that the device could be left in-situ for a considerable time without maintenance.

Over the past ten years A2E have developed expertise in design of ATEX certified products for use in potentially explosive environments. In order to help customers understand what we can do we have developed a flexible platform which could form the basis of your required ATEX device. Essentially this platform is composed of a sensor, an embedded controller and an interface. All of these building blocks are interchangeable depending on the customer’s specific requirements.
