Certification and Regulatory Compliance Testing

Certification is an essential part of everything we do at A2E. The company itself is ISO 9001 certified, as is our customer project development process.

We develop products for customers and help them achieve the certifications necessary for the conditions and countries where their product is to be used. We have experience of, e.g. CE and UK CA marking, CSA for Canada, UL and SIL.

We are experienced in debugging and solving issues related to EMC, immunity, and other radio testing such as radiated and conducted emissions. We work with the customer and test houses to perform the testing necessary for FCC and EU RED directives and see the product through to certification.

Typical safety and environmental tests would cover temperature and ingress protection. We utilise various design analysis techniques such as FMEA and reliability calculations.
We are very knowledgeable in working to ISO 13485 through partnering with our sister company, Wideblue, or with customers who are themselves certified.

Safety Integrity Levels (SIL)

A2E has experience with IEC 61508 Part 3, which details the software requirements necessary to certify a product to SIL 2 standards. We then apply the appropriate measures to minimise or eliminate faults and failures within the software.

We validate, test, and document the systems to demonstrate the safety requirements of your application or device have been fully met.
At A2E, we have expertise in ATEX development and critical safety software development.
